Two fabulous years! We’re thrilled to be expanding – our clients, our revenue, and our team – as we mark DJR García’s second year in existence this month.
Despite launching in the middle of a pandemic, our firm has never been stronger. Because of our team’s talent, creativity, and commitment to doing good work, we’ve already experienced a double-digit percentage in revenue growth and more than a 50% increase in the amount of client matters we handle each day.
Though we are well-equipped to handle multiple practice areas, including traditional healthcare providers, we’ve also seen a steady increase in a fascinating spectrum of wellness clients. From behavioral health providers and yoga studios to vitamin companies and somatic therapy practitioners, we’re thrilled to be serving businesses centered on improving lives.
Our ongoing legal work for California’s community-based primary care clinics has also increased in recent months. Both of our founders – Deborah J. Rotenberg and Gabriel S. García – were recently profiled by Los Angeles & San Francisco Daily Journal because of their leadership in this area. Deborah and Gabriel currently employ their unique combination of healthcare regulatory expertise and corporate and tax law knowledge to counsel more than 200 community health clinics, medical and dental facilities, and abortion and family planning service providers.
In fact, our expertise in federally qualified healthcare centers (FQHCs) and reproductive health services has become incredibly valuable over the last year. Deborah J. Rotenberg, our CEO/Shareholder, was even recently interviewed by Healthcare Business Today about new angles to sustain and expand access to care.
We’ve sponsored community wellness events and the California Primary Care Association (CPCA) Annual Conference, offered workshops at Startup Grind and at CPCA Conferences, and are soon to embark upon work with nursing corporations, a new form of medical practice recently approved in California.
As we’ve grown our business, we’ve also added to our team. In 2022, we were delighted to welcome Associate Attorney Jordan S. Miller and Business Manager and HR Director Cornelia A. Kane. We hope you have the opportunity to work with our brilliant new team members in the year ahead.
Now entering our third year in business, we are confident that our experience, focus, and branding are resonating with the market. We also share a sense of increased responsibility to ensure our fellow citizens’ rights are protected and expanded. We look forward to embracing the challenges of the year ahead and advancing personal health freedoms for all.
